Role of Trust in Friendship (Stand by Me)
Friendship is very important in our life. It is the medicine that helps us through hard times and the source of fun. I do not know what the world would be if there is no “friendship”. Today there are many ideas about what a friend is. Many people talk about that they have a hundreds of “friends” in Facebook, they are close in twitter. But in my mind, in real they are not your true friends, they are your fair-weather friends. If you post your hard feelings in the facebook, they comment that they are concerned to you, but how they understand you if they really don’t know you? A friend is person that can wipe away your tears, can light your way in dark, she can make all her best to make you smile in your hard times and you can share your secrets. Your real friend is not some faceless digital connection, she is someone who always there for you. The most important word that connect to friendship is “TRUST”. A friend is someone you can trust with your secrets and your fears and which can help you every time you need help... I get strength from my friends because they understand me and accept and appreciate me as I am. I don’t have to pretend with them. I can let my hair down and be myself. In the story of The Body, there is a scene that explain how trust connected to friendship. One night the take turns doing lookout duties. And this night, makes the special bond between Chris and Gordie. Chris tells of how his families bad reputation has affected him. Gordie comfort him and encourages him to work hard to prove every one wrong and make something of himself. This is the real friendship is. Friends is everything to me. Without friends life would have little meaning. After all, if a branch falls in the forest and no one hears it, who cares if it makes a sound or not if you haven’t got a friend to share the moment

“True friendship multiplies the good in life and divides its evils. Strive to have friends, for life without friends is like life on a desert island… to find one real friend in a lifetime is good fortune; to keep him is a blessing.” I believe friendship is a powerful word. It doesn’t just mean being friends with someone; it has more meaning to that. We all choose who we want as friends, we all want certain qualities much like ours, but also qualities that we might want that could complete us and this we look in other people. Everyone is different, we all look for different things, but when you find someone that you love spending time with and that person loves spending time with you than that is friendship. Friends ware off on you, they become apart of you, we may develop certain characteristics from them and they develop something from you. Friends, people you can be absolutely crazy with and then can just sit there in silence with out it being “awkward”. Friends are the ones who still keep you sane while being insane.…
