Challenging the United States Minimum Legal Drinking Age
1) What is your purpose in writing this essay? In your response, explore the deeper meaning of this question. The goal is not just to complete the assignment but instead to convey a message. What do you plan to accomplish with this essay? What do you hope the reader takes away from this argument?

The purpose of this essay is to present a point of view and discuss that point of view from the opposition, and then state my claim while also finding common ground. 2) What did you learn from completing this assignment? Did you experience a new understanding of the topic? Did you change your perspective after completing the essay?

After completing the assignment I did not change my perspective, in fact after and during writing the assignment I researched different aspect of my point of view as well of that of others, while in the process I learned that the threating of federal funding is what holds the legal drinking age at 21. 3) What difficulties did you encounter during the writing or editing phases of the assignment?

During the writing phases I found several difficulties, but none that were unsurpassable, one of these difficulties were too much information was there while trying to limit my quoting, even though I was not able to place all the information I gathered in the paper I was able to keep it in my head. 4) What did you enjoy about this assignment?

The thing I enjoyed the most about this assignment, was exploring the ideas, thoughts, and analysis of other writers and finding similar view and ideas where by myself. Also I enjoyed learning about the country that I live in and work for, and hope something will be done about the issue I wrote about. 5) What made you decide to write about this particular topic?
