Common Core Standards
At a series of afterschool staff meetings during the next 2 months our staff will be learning about the Common Core Standards and what they mean to our curriculum, assessments, and instruction (CAI). The Common Core Standards also tie into our RTI framework as we seek to prepare students for college and career readiness. Our administration team and curriculum teacher leaders will explore possible tools including the Standards Insight and Curriculum Companion that can be used in conjunction with Build Your Own Curriculum to develop and implement a Common Core Standards based instructional program.
