7.7.10 Risk assessment
The business is assessed to be of high risk in terms of organization’s ability to deliver the mission objectives and vision.
Initial risk assessment will be performed during the company initiation phase and all operational risks will be documented in the company’s risk/issues register. A detailed impact analysis will also be undertaken to assess the impact of the organization on the industry. At the time of writing this document, the following high level risks have been identified.

1 Niche markets since demand for any product is very limited in any concentration of area in Bangladesh
Mitigate: Have separate SBUs in small scale connected through safe intranet over LAN
2 Some products are mature and market is saturated
Mitigate: Bring new ideas to the products like recruitment process to tailor the needs of any job specification
3 It is difficult to manage such a diverse portfolio of products
Mitigate: Try to focus on the profitable ones and divest the loss concerns
4 There is lack of qualified specialists in most fields
Mitigate: Form strategic alliances with companies with these capabilities and try to train our own people at the same time
5 Bribery may be the norm in certain cases
Mitigate: Stay within the ethical means and networking with key stakeholders to prevent this from happening

Apart from the above initial risks, the management will also be responsible for managing risks and issues on an ongoing basis. Following process will be followed.
• Newly identified risks will be added to the company risk register and discussed in the monthly yearly meeting.
• All outstanding high risks will also be discussed in the monthly management meeting.
