Working with Huawei Telecom (I) Pvt Ltd. (GTL Limited) as a RNO on Aircel, Maharashtra & Goa Circle since Feb 2010.

Job Responsibilities:

* Daily activity includes monitoring performance counters to maintain all KPIs such as TCH drop, HOSR, DL Quality, TCH blocking, SD blocking, etc. * Periodic neighbor audit and removing the discrepancies viz., LAC, BCCH, BSIC, One way neighbor definitions, less neighbors etc. * Weekly analysis of top 10 worst cells in each KPI and implementing physical optimization and parameters for improvement. * Responsible for performing drive test of New radiating Sites. * KPI Monitoring from BSC to Cell Level and identifying network issues. * Performance stats/KPI analysis: for TCH, SD drop calls, TCH, SDCCH congestion, location Area update, handover success rate etc. * Removing parameter inconsistencies by performing a detailed database audit, and implementing the standard values of the parameters by sending work orders and keeping a strict follow-up with NOC. * Traffic steering and dimensioning using features like Traffic Handovers, Forced Directed Retry, Directed Retry. * Utilizing GSM radio network features PBGT Handovers, UL/DL Quality Handovers, UL Level/DL Level Handovers for better retainability of the calls in the network. * Extracting service affecting alarms on daily basis using the OMC, forwarding to Operations and keeping a strict follow up. * Capacity Enhancement – Expansions, TRX Additions, And New Site planning for critical highly utilized cells. * Good working knowledge of Huawei tool – LMT, Genex Probe, CME, MOS7100, Genex assistant etc. * Analysis of MRR reports from TA, UL/DL Level & Quality perspectives. * Redesigning of cells sites azimuth, tilting to overcome overshooting and to cater the weak coverage spots after integration. * Weekly preparation of DNR report, KPI performance data, discussing the same with Customer (Aircel).
