  Returning back to school
    I never thought I would be 33 years old and returning back to school. In this paper, I will be talking about returning back to school. I will be the first one to attend college in my family. I have never planned to go to college after I graduated from high school, but life does not always go as you plan.
    When I was in high school I made poor grades. I knew college wasn't a place for me. My grammar and punctuation was bad, and math was also, a poor subject for me too. I struggled   a lot just to finish high school, I managed to make it through high school. I had to take it one day at a time. Sometimes, I didn't want to go to school because I knew I was going to have a hard time learning.
    In high school   I was placed in a ELP class because of my learning disabilities. ELP stand for Exceptional Learning Program. This program helped me out a lot. It helped me with improving my grades. I was able to understand my work better, because I was in small class setting, with only 10 children in my classroom. If it wasn't for this ELP class I don't know what my life would be like today.
    As I got older I realized that college is very important. “receiving my degree can help me get that great job I have always wanted”. It   can help me build up my skills in English, reading, and writing, and whatever other subject I need to improve in. I know that college is right for me . I love being in college. As of this day I tell my children how important it is to go to college. That when they graduate from high school that they need to attend   college. I tell them that this is why I decided to returning to back to school.

So,   I can get a new start on life by having my college degree in the field that, I love and that is Early childhood education. I love working with children. I have been a preschool teacher for six years now. Children is my life.... [continues]
