Part One
Hello my name is Christopher Brogdon and I live in Philadelphia, PA. I’m currently 26 years old and don’t go by any nicknames. I currently working as a produce clerk for a local supermarket located up in Chesnutt Hill of Philadelphia. I graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 2007 and was a part of Air force ROTC. In 2013 I was discharge from the United States Army. My goal is to reach my highest potential within online education and a traditional brick and mortar school. This is my 13th course with American Public University, my major is Public Health. I going for an Associate’s Degree not a bachelors yet. My overall goal is to get a degree related to the field of nursing, before I head into a nursing program. Being a male nurse in my objective. I plan on pursing an LPN certification first and then my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing for Registered Nurse. Going to a major university in Philadelphia is an average of 19,000 dollars per semester. My personality is really a reflection of nursing and fits perfectly for the career. Nursing and Psychology goes hand and hand. One subject cannot work without the other. Growing up I found it very interesting to watch how other people work and operate daily. I watched their body movements and how they use to repeat different patterns. My learning goes for this course in very simple, do well in anything I do. It took me a long time to get to this point in my life and it’s important that I don’t screw up, especially in College. I knew about Psychology from watching Bugs Bunny dress as a Psychiatrist and preforming different acts to amuse the audience. Largely my understanding of Psychology extends from my own understanding of observing human behavior when I was little. Knowledge of Psychology can well benefit me well within the Nursing Field in dealing with patients and any behaviors that I may come across. I believe that Biological perceptive within the study of Psychology could best explaining human behavior and why humans take action in this behavior. According to Initiation to Psychology, by Carlo Wade and Carol Twins, Biological perceptive focus on how the bodily events may affect feelings, thoughts, and outcome from an event. As an example Authors of Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Identities over the Lifespan: Psychological Perspectives, Anthony R. D’Augeli and Charlotte J. Patterson identify the idea that Biological perceptive could influence sexual sexual orientation.
Part Two
According to Wade and Travis, (2012), Electrical impulses shoot along the intricate pathways of the nervous system. Hormones course through the bloodstream, telling internal organs to slow down or speed up. Chemical substances flow across the tiny gaps that separate one microscopic brain cell from another (Wade 6). Within human sexuality and performing sexual acts this process stimulates a nature reproductive nature within humans. In the article titled “Why He Can’t Keep It in His Pants”, by Tom Jacobs, men resistance to temptation fails more than woman, because men feel stronger sexual impulses and these same impulse shoot along pathways within our nervous system. What drew me to this method is because whole human sexuality is based on some type of Psychology. I was really interested by this topic when I researched how Fluctuating asymmetry and Human leukocyte antigen are both connected to human sexual attraction. Their mostly a complex of encode proteins that are encode within our genes

support required for successful completion, and my plan for a successful outcome in becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Discussion Nursing is a career that continues to demonstrate long-term demand. It can improve job security and provide long-term security. In some Oregon hospitals (I reside in the state of Oregon), the minimal educational requirements for Registered Nurses will soon be the Baccalaureate degree. “Accordingly, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing recognizes the Bachelor of Science degree in nursing as the minimal educational requirement for professional nursing practice” (Blais & Hayes, 2011, p. 4). Nurses returning to school learn more about the profession they’ve chosen. Delightfully, this may result in a change of perspectives of their previously conceived ideas of the meaning of nursing, the world around them, and themselves. Education enhances self-confidence and one’s sense of purpose. Being able to say, “I did it!” provides a great sense of accomplishment. In addition, returning to school helps one to improve computer skills, writing ability, and organizational skills. “Although RNs felt they returned to school as skilled, knowledgeable and professional practitioners, they reported growing beyond their expectations in areas of knowledge and professionalism, which they felt led the to become more effective change agents and patient…
