Pollution
Environmental pollution is the biggest danger to the human on this planet today. It means adding wastes to environment. The environment consists of earth, water, air, plants and animals. If we pollute them, then the existence of man and nature will be in danger.
It is true that trees are being cut down rapidly. Our earth is becoming warmer. If pollution continues, the day is not far when our earth will be a boiling planet and become a desert. Or it will be covered with sea water causing destruction of humans.
Pure air is always needed for breathing. If we take pure air, our health will improve. On the other hand inpure air causes diseases and destroys our health and causes our death. Smoke pollutes the air. It is the root of air pollution. The smoke which is discharged from industries, automobiles and kitchens is the mixture of carbon dioxide, other harmful gasses. These are all poisonous gases. These cause lung-cancer, etc. which take a many years to recover from it.
The garbage producing awful smell, the decaying plants and animals also cause air pollution. The doctors advise the patients having lungs trouble to settle in some not industrial places like villages because the air of villages is pure and free from population. Then comes sound pollution. The harsh sounds of buses, etc. affect our power of hearing and causes trouble.
The water of rivers and seas is being constantly polluted all over the world by dangerous chemical and biological wastes. Factories produce very harmful waste waters into many rivers and sea. The water that is flowing carry extremely polluted water and contains all dangerous bacteria.
Reckless application of chemical fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides pollutes the soil. Vegetables and fruits are quite harmful today, because they contain the poison of insecticides and pesticides.
If the air we breathe, the water we drink and the soil which produces our crops, vegetables and fruits, all become more and more polluted, then our chances of good health and longevity will be very less and less. Environment pollution is a serious danger to our existence. Realizing the danger, we must plant trees in large number to absorb inpure air. Inpure water from industries can be sent back for purification and then it can be used for irrigation purpose. Our government is well aware of the fact and is taking steps to save environment from pollution.

There are many kinds of air pollution. The ones I want to talk about are the ozone, acid rain, carbon monoxide and toxic air contaminants. Ozone is formed when hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxide react in sunlight. Therefore, ozone is at its peak during hot summer days. Exposure to high levels of ozone can have serious consequences on your health. It can cause respiratory disease, loss of pulmonary elasticity, and premature aging of our lungs. Next, is acid rain, which occurs in the atmosphere in the form of sulfur and nitrogen oxide. These pollutants can have serious damaging affects on aquatic, forest and wildlife ecosystems, as well as deterioration of buildings. Carbon monoxide is another form of pollution. It reduces the blood's ability to carry oxygen. If a human is exposed to higher levels, it can cause chest pains, angina attacks or even death.…
