Essay 3 Research Report
Source 1 My first source gives clear and reasonable causes to convert to the living green life style. The information in it is sound and persuasive. It is a good source for the foundation of my essay.
"Save the Planet: 14 Benefits of Going Green!" Go Green with Ecowareness Going Green Eco Friendly Tips RSS. N.p., n.d. Web. 26 Oct. 2013.

Source 2 Unlike source 1 which only lists the positive effects of what going green has on the environment, source 2 lists the positive advantages going green has in the business world. By including information from this source into my essay, it will reach a greater and more influential audience.
"What Are the Benefits of Going Green for a Business?" Small Business. N.p., n.d. Web. 26 Oct. 2013.

Source 3 According to source 3, consumers are 58 percent more likely to purchase products or services from a company that is mindful of its impact on the environment and society. Even for those companies that do not specialize in eco-friendly products or services, experts say their efforts to launch an environmentally friendly campaign could not only help reduce energy use and operating costs, but it could also attract environmentally conscious consumers who remain appreciative of companies that have made the first step in reducing their carbon footprints. Again source 3 lists the advantages of going green for the private sector citizens who are trying to start businesses of their own. By going green small, businesses will have a competitive edge over their bigger competitors.
"The Competitive Advantages of Going Green." Direct Selling 411 Blog RSS. N.p., n.d. Web. 25 Oct. 2013.
Source 4 Source 4 lists the disadvantages that going green would have on the environment as well as people. I would use the information from this source in the concession or rebuttal part of my essay.
"The Competitive Advantages of Going Green." Direct Selling 411 Blog RSS. N.p., n.d. Web. 27 Oct. 2013

The Hawkins and Mothersbaugh’s Office Depot case study outlines the three core areas and 10 key guiding principles for its environmental stewardship (2010, pp. 269-270). This paper will summarize Office Depot’s accomplishments to date and determine whether or not consumers are generally aware of these accomplishments. I will also consider whether or not the audit in 2004 performed by PricewaterhouseCooper had an effect on my evaluation of Office Depot’s environmental efforts. Lastly, this paper will present specific consumer values that tap into environmental stewardship to increase the “bottom line,” as well as give an example on how to promote this concept with a targeted market. I believe that Office Depot, at present, is not promoting locally its environmental vision statement, nor advertising in effective manner all its accomplishments over the past few years in sustainable products. Where is the disconnect?…
