1.1 The transformation of world economy to downturn and thus changes in the business environment in an aerospace industry gave rise to the report. The report going to explore how these alterations have affected Airbus company, and to help assessing its current situation and to build up its further strategies. 1.2 The purpose of this report is to carry out a detailed PESTLE analysis of one of the two large aircraft manufacturers – Airbus. The main part of this report is PESTLE Analysis, which is a method of analyzing the external political, economic, socio-cultural, technological, legal and environmental factors influencing Airbus. Finally, this report ends with the brief conclusions and gives an outlook to Airbus′ position in the global marketplace in future, based on PESTLE analysis; and there are recommendations given to the company. All of the above is supported with practical tables in the Appendices section, and technical terms are explained in the Glossary. 1.3 The main theoretical tool of the report is PESTLE analysis that is a very useful for any company which wants to overview its performance within external business environment and make forecasts. The report helps to build the vision of the short-term future of Airbus on the grounds of the following six factors.
