It has been a proud privileged to have completed my implant training program, which is a part of our curriculum at a prestigious organization like Solaris Chemtech ltd. For this I am highly thankful to our Director Dr M. S. Moodithaya who provided me an opportunity to undergo my implant training in this organization.

My heartfelt thanks to Mr. P. B. Naik, senior HR Manager, Solaris Chemtech ltd for giving me an opportunity to undergo my implant training in their esteem organization.

And also I would like to thank Mr. Ashok Rane, external guide, Solaris Chemtech ltd for his valuable guidance and support.

My stay in the organization for the period of four weeks gave me wide experience of the activities of the organization and enriched my knowledge.

I sincerely thank my guide, faculty, Ms Jayanthi for being a source of inspiration and guiding me with her valuable advice and encouragement.

Finally I would like to express my thanks to all the employees of the organization for their kind help and cooperation during my implant training.

Executive Summary.

As a part of the curriculum, In plant training was undergone at Solaris Chemtech Ltd, Karwar from 19th July to 18th August, 2007 in order to get a clear idea about the various departments and to be familiarized with the corporate functioning.

This report gives information about the various departments in the organization. This report also includes profile of the Industry and the Company and information about the present working system at Solaris Chemtech Ltd.

The main objectives of the Inplant Training is to get an idea about the management practices of the company, identify the Trends, efficiency and effectiveness of the various departments and to identify the future prospects of the company.

This is a report of In-Plant Training undergone in Order to gain knowledge about the practicability of the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom. This repot gives an idea about how Mckinsey’s 7S model is applied in the functioning of the Organization.

The ratio analysis is done with object of knowing the financial soundness of the Organization and simple ratios are used for the analysis. The learning experience is included at end of the study which gives an idea about the observation made during the study.

Solaris Chemtech Ltd has caught the pulse of the Indian customers as well as the overseas customer by entering into variety types of product categories. This has created ample opportunity for the organization to grow. The success of the organization can be attributed to the efficient working of the management where in there is participative work culture and Team work.
