Introduction

The opportunity to gain professional industry experience for accounting students while undertaking their undergraduate degree provides them with both a competitive edge in the marketplace and an opportunity to experience the activities undertaken in their chosen profession. Career management does not end once an individual secures a job; it is a life-long effort. Once he/she is on the job, he should take control of his career. He should discover what training and education will increase his value and satisfaction. “The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don’t define them, or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them.” - Denis Watley After deciding on the career plan, the next step is preparing for the job interview.
