My Past has led to My Present

I am twenty nine years old and never thought that I would be where I am today, if it weren’t for my experiences in my life I probably would be different. In this paper I will tell about some of my past experiences that have led to where I am at today. The experiences that I have had made it to where I never thought that I would be where I am today. If it weren’t for the mistakes that I have made in the past I would never have learned from them. This paper will tell about some of my past experiences and how they helped me get to where I am today. There are several parts of my life that I will talk about throughout this paper and these will show how I made it to where I am today.
I grew up in a family of loggers and that was interesting because in the summer time we always were moving around from place to place. It is because of this that I was able to see some of the places in the western united states. For the longest time while I was growing up I thought that my mother’s husband was my dad, but when I was about twelve years old I found out that he was just my stepdad and that my birth father wanted nothing to do with me. My mom and stepdad provided a lot of opportunities for me and that was great because they cared about what I wanted out of life.
It was hard growing up with a father figure that was gone most of the time due to work and my mom worked nights so that during the day she could be at home with my little brothers that were not old enough to be in school yet. I learned from my mom how to be a hard worker and fight for what you wanted in life. We didn’t have much growing up but what we did have we all worked very hard to accomplish as a family.
