Review of Related Studies and Literature
This section discussed both related studies and literature which were relevant to the proposed study. Reading these studies related to a certain topic of interest can be helpful in formulating a specific research problem.
2.1 Related Studies
This contained the local and foreign studies that were related on the proposed project. The studies included in this chapter were similarities and differences to the proposed software.
This contained local studies related to the proposed project to determine its relevance.
In the study entitled “Occupational Employees Records Management System” (2012) by John Romeo V. Etis of AMA Computer College Biñan Campus stated that, the system is created to design a database records management system to provide an effective and reliable solution to the management of the occupational employee’s records and to reduce or eliminate some manual processing, time and effort. 
The previous study was similar with the proposed website in terms of minimizing the manual process, time and effort in managing the employee’s and applicant’s record. The difference between the previous study and the proposed website was the previous study was not an online and a record management only and does not cover the online hiring.
In the study entitled ”AMA-Biñan Online Examination with Scheduler” (2010) by Paul Jason F. Gregory and Rodel C. Santos of AMA Computer College Biñan stated that, the students of AMA Biñan can take their exam through online, so that even if they can have an alternative way of taking the special exam but only have valid reason. The schedule for the examination will be post online; students can access it only if they are enrolled in the school. 
The previous study was similar to the proposed website in terms of taking the exam online which instead of taking the exam on the said place. The proposed website aim the applicants to apply their position desired and take the online examination efficiently as well as the previous study which aims the students to take exam more conveniently. The difference between the previous study had a large scope in online examination while the proposed website covered only a simple examination for the applicants.
In the study entitled “Applicants Tracking System” (2009) by Edgar Allan M. Alub, Ian King S. Bautista, Mojic B. Mojares, and Ronualdo B. Mondez of AMA Computer College Biñan Campus stated that, the system was developed for the NYD International Agency to enable them to track the status of a job application from its entry and retrieve and storage of applicant’s documents into the system through its final disposition. ATS was the first system developed for the company to increase their business outcome. This study discusses the organized approach of the development of the system, including data normalization, processing of papers, end user involvement, and end user development standard. 
The previous study was similar with the proposed website in terms of tracking the applicants though the previous study was not online based they also track the job application of every employee which was created to developed an organized system. The only difference was the previous study was not an online based and only tracking of employees application while the proposed website was an online based hiring.

In the study entitled “Online Job Portal” (2013) of ARSD College University of Delhi stated that “Online Job portal” is a web-based application, which helps end user to finding a job with searching criteria like preferred location, job type, work profile and packages.
