1.Students who need to take General Education courses in order to stay in phase:
Priority A:Dawson students graduating this summer. Appointments and course assignment will be held in Oliver’s at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.
Priority B:1) Dawson Students graduating this May with letters requiring that they take summer courses for university admission. Appointments will be available at Oliver’s beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 (they will get a Priority B appointment for registration).
2) Career students out of phase who cannot advance must see an academic advisor to be pre-registered into their course(s) at Oliver’s beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 (they will get a Priority B appointment for registration).
NB: Students who do cannot make it to see Advising to be pre-registered in their courses on May 8 at Oliver’s can go to an Advising Drop In the next day, or at their convenience.
Friday, May 31st will be reserved exclusively for summer course registration for Priority A and Priority B students. Priority A and Priority B students must be pre-registered into the courses they need by an advisor during the dates mentioned above. In the event that they cannot register online (that is, finalize and pay), they will have been given an appointment for onsite registration, according to their priority.
2.Students who want to get ahead with General Education courses Students can get their appointment time for registration on Omnivox. They would then register on-line according to their appointment time for any courses that are available.
3.Non-Graduating Students who want to take summer courses to get University pre-requisites (i.e., Math, Chemistry, Physics) Students cannot register for courses outside their program on their own.
