RESEACH TOPIC: THE COSTS AND BENEFITS OF ESTABLISHMENT OF REGINAL ECONOMIC INTERGRATION IN AFRICA.
A CASE STUDY OF EAST AFRICA COOPERATION AT DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA
ABSTRACT
The east Africa cooperation aims to improve warfare being of the citizens living in the member states. This research study will be conducted at the Ministry of East Africa co-operation at Dar-es-Salaam Tanzania. The study will asses how regionalism and integration will bring about sustainable developments to the member states citizens, basically will envisage on the proportionate sharing of benefits accruing from economic integration. This study cautions against undue optimism about such forms of cooperation, and attempts to explain their limited success when they compete with other co operations by applying rational choice theory to behaviour in cooperative systems. It examines the relevance of assumptions of self interest, opportunism and bounded rationality in such solidaristic organizations, then uses them to calculate the costs and benefits of using participatory systems. Conclusions and recommendations will also be made.
