|The main points I have learnt from this session are: | |The roles, responsibilities and boundaries of a tutor. How important is to be clear on where you are in that relationship, and not to | |cross it. Although it is adults who will be in my learner group, because of my position within that group, they will be classed a | |“vulnerable adults” even though they will be work colleagues. And I have a responsibility to myself as well as them. | |How it is important to establish boundaries, and what those boundaries can mean, taking into account where it is you are working and the | |environment around you. | |I am hopeful that given the environment that I currently work in, boundaries are very important, and to be able to develop good | |professional relationships without crossing personal boundaries is very important , in order to be able to maintain a caring professional| |working environment. | |I have also learned that I am inclined to use all of the VARK (visual, aural, reading, kinaesthetic) ways of learning and taking in | |information, as well as a disadvantage I assume, that until I have to do something, none of it seems to make much sense to me. | |There are also policies within my work environment,...
