A teacher must be dedicated and devoted to his/her students. This was seen in the movie “The Freedom Writers” where Mrs. Gruwell an inexperienced but very dedicated teacher went to the extent in developing her students. Mrs. Gruwell was faced with a big challenge when a group of freshmen students showed her a high level of disrespect from most of the students which made it hard for her to communicate effectively with them. While she taught she developed different strategies to boost them in taking part in class activities.
