Reflection
Never set in Stone Many things in life are set; the sun will rise, the rivers run, and birds will fly. However, my life does not work that way, paths change and so do people. High school is an unique place that allows people to discover who they are, change who they are, and improve who they are. In my personal experience, my high school years have been full of change. As I continue to journey through my final year, I will continue to turn over more stones and uncover new paths, different from the ones I was sure of only a few years ago. During my freshman year, I was certain that my life would be set becoming an athletic trainer. When research papers came around, I wrote mine about an athletic trainer because it was my passion and my goal. However, I have deviated from that course, chosen a new trail. Even though I still love athletics, I have fallen in love with photography. I have now decided that it would be my dream to become a professional photographer. I discovered a love for photography when I started taking pictures for a yearbook event. The ability to freeze time forever has pulled me in, and now I constantly think of moments that could be captured. I have discovered my artistic side, and it has carried me so much farther that I could have ever thought possible. It has changed me, developed me, and strengthened me. A stone that will be forever set, is that frustrating fact that high schoolers constantly judge and compare each other. In my social group, I am the biggest of my friends. Whenever we go out shopping, they rush to the small sections, while I search out for larger sizes. At first this constant reminder caused me to struggle with self esteem and self worth. However, when I made the top lifting charts in PE at the end of my tenth grade year, and then made varsity soccer my junior, I began to realize how strong I am. I am the strongest of my friends and very athletic, I realized my body gives me the strength I need to be competitive.

This essay will reflect upon an incident in practice when I administered a drug to a child. I will use Gibbs reflective model (Gibbs 1988)(see appendix 1). This model of reflection will be applied to the essay to facilitate critical thought and relating theory to practice where the model allows. Discussion on the incident will include the knowledge underpinning practice and the evidence base for the administration of the drug. A conclusion to the essay will then be given which will discuss my knowledge and competence of the incidence being reflected upon.…

“I want to see the beauty. In the ugly, in the sink, the suffering, in the daily, in all the days before I die, the moments before I sleep.” (goodreads.com) High school is expressed as the best of times, but also as the worst of times. Regardless of whether we desire to or not, it is a part of our lives we will remember forever. It is when we start to figure out who we are, and decide the life we want to live. While we go through this significant phase of our life, it is essential that we appreciate it to the best of our ability by focusing on living in the moment, taking the time to enjoy ourselves and helping others enjoy themselves too.…

High school is a time when challenges are all around, the only difference is sometimes a person doesn’t see them even though there right in front of their face. Reflection allows an individual to identify the reasons or purpose of understanding the outcome of a particular situation in depth in term of emotions on thought and feeling on the topic area. In addition, Reflection is something that we do implicitly as part of being human, underpinning our identities through a process of negotiation between our sense of self and our experiences of others (Demetriou, 2000, p.210). Therefore, I have implemented this quote in my professional and personal goals I wanted and have achieved thought-out the process of the module. High school was my time to stop fooling around. The first day of high school, I awoke to the aroma of coffee brewing on the stove. As I get ready to head out my sister approached me, and told me “Education is the key that opens the door many possibilities you can be and do in your near future” I was so nervous the sweat started dripping from my palms, and I suddenly felt 15 degrees hotter. I was nervous, I knew this is the time to get serious. Immediately a thought came across “ how well I do these four years can affect my entire life”. At first high school might look like a time to have fun and have no worries, which was my initial thought. Later on you start to realize that you need work hard. I thought “How would my future look? I don’t want to end up hopelessly. I want to make something of myself. Sometimes it can be hard though. I just have to work through the pain. At this point it’s make it or break it, success is my only…

    REFLECTION

First of all let me define Reflection paper in my own perception, reflection paper means to express your thoughts and feelings on the subject. What your teacher wants to know what’s your reaction to the formulas are. And you can mention which is your favourite/most useful formula you also have to analyze it if it’s perhaps easy or hard. In the end make a conclusion and why you feel this way. Include your thoughts and opinions on it. That’s how you write a reflection paper in a general sense on anything. This approach is great because it allows students to have a better understanding of math. I think this class was better than the traditional approach because usually in a math class you just have to memorize information and then regurgitate it all on endless tests. The strengths of this class for me were that we were expected to really think about things, figure them out, and then write explanations too. If you have to explain something to someone else, you really have to know what it is all about. It might be harder, but this is what learning is really all about. Not just memorizing. When you struggle, try different approaches, figure it out and then try to explain it to someone else, you’re really learn it for good! At first i don’t have any idea about this subject if it is going to be hard or not? So far in fundamentals concepts of mathematics, we have learned a lot. Mostly, we learned Methods of proof, which was a hard concept to grasp at first. But little by little, with help from the teacher and each other, we began to understand Methods of proofs better and better. Fundamentals concepts of mathematics so far this year has probably been one of my harder classes, but I think it is my favourite. At first, I hated Venn diagram. They were the most annoying things in the world. They just didn't make sense to me. What was even more irritating…

What i can learn after watching the video about the story of Mr Wee Kok Wah is that when doing business we must be willing to accept any thing that is going to happen in the future. We must be ready to face any obtacles and never give up to keep trying to find a way to solve the problem. And the most important thing is that we must first know what our problem is before we are going to solve it. By then we can solve the problem without having any problems. Think before we do.…

1.Poems for me are about things you can relate on to. Poems are often written as a reflection of life, from the point of view of either the writer of the poem, or of the character that the writer is trying to portray. This is where someone is being sensible. The main thing about poems are that, they are something someone writes to express, such are the like of songs and other compositions. Filipino writers are more of that, they involve themselves into it to create something from it, such that when readers read it, they can feel the emotions that is being imaged-out from it. From the poem “The Rural Maid” the poet expresses the deep love of the person who fell in love with a maid, who couldn’t by chance be his/her. To anyone who had ever been in this situation they call “Forbidden love” could deeply remorse over the feeling. Even with others who have not felt this way will come to feel the emotions portrayed by the poet. This reason why poems are much more than words than can give meaning to anyone.Poets are living a life for things they write and their emotions are more than felt but also respected, for without it what are words when not spoken, felt or acted on? This is how the poem is imaged to every reader.…
