Redesigning the Internet
A global interconnecting computer network that uses TCP/IP, standard internet protocol, that provides service to users worldwide. Providing private, academic, business, government networks that help run our everyday lives. In early days people used the internet exclusively for information. Yet, now it is constantly evolving and developing that doesn’t just hold an extremely large amount of information but also provides new ways to interact and access the world.
The internet has come from just an informational source to a entertainment system, business networking tool, and many other things. With the age we live in now the internet has endless possibilities. The one issue with this is the fact that because the internet has become such an easy access tool and available to anyone that is able to get a connection in their location like a highway during rush hour has become congested by the billions of users. Things like hot new videos and blog links have slowed down the speed of websites and internet access. Some websites have come to crash because of the massive traffic they have come to acquire. So many huge faces of the internet have come to the conclusion that we will have to reconstruct or reinvent the internet.
Reconstruct vs. Reinvent
The reconstruction has already started and continues on an everyday basis with the constant innovation and new creations that companies and single programmers have provided there is a constant developing new internet. Yet, the current internet standard stays constant meaning that the basic outlining or skeleton of the internet is constant. The way you can look at the reconstruction of the internet is like upgrading from windows 7 to windows 8. There are many new applications and innovations added to the system but the overall service provided is still the same.
