Man built the world over time but the world is also polluted by trash that people don’t pick up and just throw on the ground. I believe that if people would recycle their trash and some products they use daily it would be better for the environment. Recycling turns materials that would otherwise become waste into valuable resources. There are many objects people recycle for the world to save money and live better. Collecting used bottles, cans, and newspapers and taking them to the curb or to a collection facility is just the first in a series of steps that generates a possibility of financial, environmental, and social returns. Some of these benefits accrue locally as well as globally.
Recycling includes collecting recyclable materials that would otherwise be considered waste, sorting and processing recyclables into raw materials such as fibers, manufacturing raw materials into new products, and purchasing recycled products.
I would like to give you some examples that show why recycling is very important to the society. The first example is paper recycling. Paper is made from many trees that are cut down. We losing more and more trees every year. Paper is one of those things that can be recycled. To produce each week's Sunday newspapers, 500,000 trees must be cut down. Add enough water to paper and it becomes pulp, which can then be mashed and mixed and turned into paper again. The paper comes out a little bit different, but it's still usable. As a result of the paper recycling trees are cut down less, so we preserve natural habitats of a variety of animals and natural tourism attractions, and in the future there would be cleaner air because the trees could help with the pollution we've caused. If every American recycled just one-tenth of their newspapers, we would save about 25,000,000 trees a year.
The second example is recycling of metal. At one time, aluminum was more valuable than gold! Recycling of one aluminum can saves enough energy to...
