REQUIREMENT
We, students of Philippine School of Business Administration Manila Campus in partial fulfillment of our course in Corporate Social Responsibility, are required to give recommendations that would target the objective.
OBJECTIVE
The given recommendations are for Employees, particularly Clerks to have the right balance among their work life, personal and family life, health, and job fulfillment with considerations and respect to the Labor Code of the Philippines. Presidential Decree No. 442, as amended. A decree instituting a labor code thereby revising and consolidating labor and social laws to afford protection to labor, promote employment and human resources development and insure industrial peace based on social justice.
COMPREHENSIVE INTRODUCTION
Clerk, the vocational title, commonly refers to a white-collar worker who conducts general office or, in some instances, sales tasks. The responsibilities of clerical workers commonly include record keeping, filing, staffing service counters and other administrative tasks. The word clerk, derived from the Latin clericus meaning 'cleric', i.e. clergyman, can denote someone who works in an office and whose duties include record-keeping or correspondence and later on became restricted to a specific, fairly low rank in the administrative hierarchy. There are several job descriptions in the clerk title, depending on his certain work field. Some of them are the following:
