Reaction paper on Rizal the movie

Jose Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda, known as Dr. Jose Rizal. The greatest hero of the Philippines was certainly the pride of Malayan race. He is also known as a genius. He was opulently dowered by God with excellent intellectual, moral, and physical personality. He was an anthropologist, cartographer, playwright, mentor,novelist, folklorist, geographer, historian, musician, writer, artist, physician, poet, truth-seeker, psychologist and, sociologist. In addition, Bonifacio was his passionate enthusiast. Rizal was also a lover, he loved Leonor Rivera, who was his cousin. But regardless of that fact, he was forced to go to Europe to study medicine. He was ordered by his brother Paciano, in order to fight against the Spaniards. He became a traveler. And each country he visited, there were always important events that occurred. Rizal wrote two novels, the “Noli Me Tangere” and the second part of it, the “El Filibusterismo”. These writings state how the Spaniards rule the Philippines, how the rights of the Filipinos were abolished. The genius, Dr. Rizal, portrayed himself in his two novels. Dr. Jose Rizal, courageous and a man of his word, was never frightened whatever the consequences he may suffer. Because of his writings that are not in favor of the friars and as well as to the Spaniards. His goal was to free the Philippines from the unfair and unreasonable control of Spanish colony. Dr. Rizal was a nationalist, hero, and a martyr. He set apart his God-given talent, and even sacrificed his own life, for the freedom and wellbeing of his people. Furthermore, he is a man of great courage and versatility that appears just once in the history of any nation.
