On September 8, 2011, the 3rd year BSOAD students held an educational tour in Museo ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Gardenia bakeries and especially the main event of the tour is in the Laguna Splash Island. The Educational tour started out as an escape from school for most of us students, bonding with friends, chance to unwind and of course, to learn new things and to gain knowledge at the same time that we may apply someday. First, we went to Museo ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. When you enter the BSP Museum it is so secured. There so many restrictions like bringing cellphone, camera, and money. After we enter the museum, there’s a short briefings about history of Philippine money, evolution of Philippine money, kinds of money in the past during the war and the conquest of other country in the Philippines and also the process of how to make banknotes and the process of minting coins. In the BSP Museum you can see also the collections of coins, paper notes, medals, tokens and others. I learned a lot and also it really useful because it’s important that you know how money begins, the history and evolution of money because other people didn’t know that and I can share what I learned and discovered from the Museo ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. After the short visit to BSP Museum, we went straight to our second destination the Gardenia Bakeries in Laguna where different taste of bread made. After we arrived in Gardenia, we wait for about 30 minutes because the accommodation of seats in the film showing was limited so they divide the students into two. So it’s our time to eat lunch, relax, taking pictures, nap and retouch. After 30 minutes the film showing started.
