Today I went to the mall to observe and write down how racism is still around and the different ethnic groups in society. I went to the Berkshire Mall with a fellow classmate David Knauer. Together we found a total of 5 groups of people, African Americans, Asians, Latinos, Whites, And a mixed racial couple. They were all so different from each other in every way. The AA’s were about 17 or 18 and all dressed in sports jerseys, Nike shoes, baseball hats, and shorts. The Asian people were probably in their late teens, and wore sweatshirts, and sweatpants, and Adidas shoes, with beanie’s on their heads. They where in Game Stop for a very long time spending lots of money and browsing through many games. They were kind of ignoring the cashier when they paid for their stuff.

The White People where dressed in Polo shirts, Khaki pants and Nike shoes too, and one of them had a baseball hat on. We ran into them at the food court, they browsed through the court seeing what was there and stopped at Country Fair Fries and Dogs. (Very American in my opinion.) They were nice to the cashier and pad respectfully. The Latino group was very obnoxious and loud. There were 6 people then 10 then 14 of them. It seemed like every store they picked up more people. They were rude to others and made a scene in front of everyone. They shopped at XL designs and FYE. They dressed inappropriately with offensive shirts and laughed at people. Then there was the mixed race couple, a white female and an African American male. Very nice people and dressed in Name brand clothes and wore expensive shirts and pants. They were very kind to others who talked to them and it seemed like they were appreciative to others and cashiers. As you can see racism still exists today and is...
