Racial issues vary from city to city. In Indiana there are a lot of different minorities that live in varies parts of Indiana. Some people in different races think that they are superior to other races but in reality we are all the same we all had difficulties in life growing up and we can all be something better in the future.
In my community we have different races everywhere. I like that we have people of different races that call America home. Some towns in Indiana are mostly white and when you are of a different race they tend to look at you different. The community that I live in there are all different types of people which I like because you get to meet people that might have grown up in Mexico and other countries like that. I like that being able to meet people of different races is easy here because we have them all. There are people of two different races, Hispanic, African American, Asian, American Indian, White, and all other kinds of races.
My community leaders I think treat each and every person fairly. But sometimes you never know because on the outside they look like they treat each person fairly but then when you take a closer look you see the way that they do sometimes treat each person as the color of their skin. Sometimes jobs are offered to people because of their race also. I remember when I worked at a restaurant and I was training to be a shift supervisor and had went to all the classes worked every day from morning to night and then my manager who was a different race offered the job to someone of his race which was totally unfair. But there was really nothing I could do because I couldn’t prove that that was the reason he gave the job to her.
