Queenie
Example 2 (Exemplary)
Closely around 1 a.m., Queenie Volupides came home from a party that was at the Oxford Country Club. When she left the home earlier, anger filled her body from the fight that occurred between the two before she went to the club. She supposedly found her husband, Arthur, at the foot of the stairs still holding on to his drinking glass that appeared to be empty. She claimed that he was coming down for another drink, yet it is hard to believe that she knows that since she came home to him lying there. Friends were invited to the Volupides' home for one last drink after the club, but
Queenie arrived there 10 minutes before the women. When the guests arrived, Queenie told them that she found Arthur and didn't know what to do.
The evidence that I have collected goes to the obvious answer to the "Is she lying or is she telling the truth?" question. The scene showed that
Arthur was still holding his glass. As a rule, when people become unconscious, their body becomes loose which would result to Arthur letting go of his glass. Secondly, Arthur was lying at the bottom of the stairs, face-up, with his feet propped on the stairs. As a rule, when people fall down the stairs they land face-down. The third thing I found was that the rug was not messed up in any way. As a rule, when people fall on rugs, the rug gathers together instead of staying spread out. Fourth, Arthur's clothes were not messed up of any kind. As a rule, when people fall, their clothes get shuffled and pulled up. Lastly, the mirror and the candlesticks that are lined up on the staircase wall is not messed up, neither is the railing. As a rule, when people fall they hold on to anything around them to help them stay up.
With the evidence that I have come upon, I think Queenie should be arrested. I would believe she needs to spend at least eighteen years in jail for counts of pre-meditative murder. The gathered information on that night leads me to believe that Queenie got home

There was evidence that wasn’t collected such as blood that Mrs Chamberlain offered to give to the police. Evidence such as their tents and belongings were moved to a motel on the first night, which could’ve caused contamination allowing the evidence to have alterations. Their tents and belongings were also not searched. In addition, the family was then allowed to leave in their car the following morning without it being explored allowing contamination with another piece of evidence. Furthermore, evidence that was discovered later on in the case such as Azaria’s jumpsuit was moved then picked up and was not placed as it was found which tampered with the evidence. Although the collection of evidence throughout this case demonstrated faults, the Jury still concluded to Mrs Chamberlain as a guilty woman, which led to her…

    Queen Hatshepsut DBQ

Queen Hatshepsut was the first female pharaoh who ruled Egypt. She reigned during 1473 – 1458 B.C.E. She first served as co-ruler with her stepson Tuthmosis III, but later took power as a pharaoh herself. Although she was a great ruler, the idea of having a female ruler was unfamiliar to Egyptians and it unsettled them. As an effort to present her in unthreatening guise to make Egyptians feel more at ease, artists depicted Queen Hatshepsut as a male wearing the stylized beards that are traditionally associated with pharaohs. This gesture shows how females are subordinate to males because they did not feel comfortable that their nation was being led by a female. That is why most societies turned to patriarchal rule. This gesture also showed how they did not respect Queen Hatshepsut because they altered her image as a male. Many societies indicated women’s subordination to men’s status through documents showing how women were not able to participate in government duties, not being allowed a proper education and the inequality between slave men and slave women.…

The mystery behind the rule and death of Queen Hatshepsut, it was believed that Queen Hatshepsut dressed as a man to gain support of the Egyptians. During her reign she created wealth for Egypt by trading goods and oversaw building projects. Her reign was peaceful without war and was considered very successful. Upon Hatshepsut death, her successor Thutmose III removed as many remnants of her rule as possible by defacing monuments and removing her name from the kings’ lists. The theories were she was killed by Thutmose III, accidently committed suicide or died of natural causes. Her remains were not identified until 2007, although British Howard Carter had discovered the remains in 1902 in Egypt’s Valley of Kings.…

    Queen Elizabeth Dbq

When Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne, there were violent clashes throughout Europe between Protestant and Catholic leaders and their followers. Though Elizabeth honored many of the Protestant edicts of her late father, King Henry VIII, she made significant concessions to Catholic sympathizers, which kept them from attempting rebellion. But when compromise was not possible, she was an exacting and determined leader who did not shy away from conflict. With the naval defeat of the Spanish Armada in 1588, England was firmly established as a leading military and commercial power in the Western world. Elizabeth supported and later knighted Sir Francis Drake, the first sailor to circumnavigate the globe. She also funded Sir Walter Raleigh's…

The food cooking on the stove may be seen as evidence of Queenie’s innocence. People could argue that she would not have had time to kill him if she was cooking. However, we do not know that he died within the ten minutes she was home. She could have killed him before she even left to the party. Also, if you look at the food you see smoke rising from it. That is an indicator of burnt food, meaning she was not paying much attention. These are two valid points for the quandary that can help prove the guiltiness of Queenie.…

Throughout early European history women had not held high positions of political, religious, and social power. However, this all changed when Elizabeth I became the Queen of England, and the Supreme Head of the Anglican Church from 1558-1603. Even with Elizabeth in charge many people including Protestant’s, and Catholic’s were biased, and unhappy about her reign. The English however, who were biased to the thought of a female ruler in the being, had grown to love and adore their new monarch. With these responses to Elizabeth being in power, she responds with her head high trying to prove her devotion to her country, and people.…

The only scientists who kept the Business-as-Usual sign hanging out during the war were the mathematicians and astronomers. The other men of learning were engaged in war work. Physicists were making better range-finders, chemists were making better poison gases, and theologians were proving that their gods were in the trenches qualifying for meritorious-conduct medals and kisses on both cheeks. But the astronomers and mathematicians were not doing their bits. While the war was in progress, Albert Einstein was completing his theory at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute in Berlin, and British astronomers were working on plans to test it. It was fraternizing with the enemy. Scientists of this type have always been dangerous internationalists.…
