Executive Summary

This report is based on the evaluation of performance of a hospitality organization by carrying out its Business Performance Check and to create an Action Plan for the implementation of new quality schemes, standards, policies and the procedures for the hospitality organization.
Hotel Russell is taken as a sample and ‘Monthly Up selling Targets’ is taken as case to carry out the above mentioned process.
Initially, the characteristics of the Business Performance Check have been identified before implementing to the organization. After conducting the performance check, the outcomes were assessed and those areas are outlined that becomes a reason for the shortfall of the business.
Finally, Quality Models are taken into consideration with respect to the area of improvement required and new policies and procedures are designed with a suitable action plan.

• It helps in recognising problem and solving them as soon as possible before it gets too late.
• Helps in identifying new opportunities where it can grow.
• Helps to tackle future threats for the business.
• Helps to identify the modification which needs to be made.

• It should be reliable and have unbiased results.
