At the beginning of the movie, Chris Gardner is a medical equipment salesman and he invested his family’s savings in a portable device, which is a bone-density scanner. His work is carrying this bone density scanners demonstrate and sell to the doctors but unfortunately, hospital think that bone density scanners are luxuries and expensive and lead to this machines are not easy to sell. Even sometimes Chris Gardner not able to sell one in 2 months. As Chris Gardner tries to figure out how to sell the machines, he has encountered the biggest setback in his life. Struggling to make ends meet, his wife Linda has been unable to endure the pressures of life, Linda leaves him and moves to New York where she has taken a job in a pizza parlor. In order to improve living conditions, Chris Gardner decided to change jobs to do stockbroker. He meets a manager for Dean Witter and impresses him by solving a Rubik's Cube during a short cab ride. This makes him earn a chance to fight for a stockbroker internship position at Dean Witter. But his life won’t so easy, he have to struggles to work his way from six- month unpaid internship in Dean Witter. During the training period, Chris Gardner goes through a lot of hardship, he can’t pay his room rent and chase out by the owner, his bank account is garnished for the unpaid taxes, he and his son become homeless and have to forced at one point to stay in a bathroom at a subway station. Although his life is getting harder and goes through a lot of hardship, but Chris Gardner has passion for the work he do. In the movie, he founds Christopher addicted to playing basketball, he said to his son “Don't ever let somebody tell you, you can't do something! Not even me, all right? You got a dream ,you gotta protect it .” This powerful motivation told us that we should be believe our own ability and should believe our own goals when pursuit...
