Pursuing Criminal Justice
I. Introduction  
The United States is set up with a three tier system of law. The United States has the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to help not only the citizens but also the law enforcement agencies too on a federal level. The Constitution was written by the people for the people to give them rights from the government. The Bill of Rights are the laws and statute in which the citizens and law enforcement abides by. Each of the 50 States has its own Constitution and Bill of Rights on a State level and each state is different from other states. The third tier is the local level of cities and counties that have their own laws and ordinances in which citizens must abide by and law officers enforce.  
II. Definition of justice as related to the Law enforcement  
Law enforcement are commit individuals who help to enforce the laws and statutes currently upheld by the Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution and jurisdictions of the states, county, cities, and towns in the United States. These dedicated individuals also functions as the legal enforcement involves supervision of the sentence process of the convicted criminals that commits crimes that includes managing the process of confinement or imprisonment.
A. Federal Level
Federal level is the government consisting of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Homeland Security, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Homeland Security is of the global level of keeping the United States safe from terrorist and other threats to the United States. Homeland Security also operates within the United States. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is national and operates inside the borders of the United States.   However, all three of these agencies coordinate and communicate with each other on the surveillance and intelligence that they may collect from other sources in an effort to keep the United States safe.
