In today’s current economy the job market is becoming more competitive.   According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics more skills, education and training are required when seeking employment as opposed to just a few years ago.   Therefore, obtaining advanced education is very important.   In many top level management position this especially holds true. It is here where we see an increasing number of individuals pursing an MBA to further ones career.

The economy is changing and along with that change creates a new dynamic with the job market.   When you look at the current unemployment rate, there are many companies go through layoffs and shut downs. This has created a pool of highly qualified individuals seeking employment.   Since, the pool of qualified individuals is so large; employers now have even more of a chance to be very selective in their hiring. Not only do employers get to be more selective in their hiring but they can also let individuals go more quickly. The pool of qualified individuals is so large, employers know that whoever they let go can more readily be replaced.

The Bureau of Labor and Statistics shows that more education has become a vital tool in advancing your career or seeking employment.
