Armstrong (2000) defines performance management as a “strategic and integrated process that delivers sustained success to organisations by improving the performance of people who work in them and by developing the capabilities of individual contributors and teams.” (McAdam, 2005, p.257). Moullin (2002) and de Bruijn (2001) explain how the objectives of performance management are; rationalisation, more effective systems of financial accountability, greater transparency in the operation of these public institutions, upgrading of the skills base with modernisation of its functional principles, procedures and systems; and. the development of a realistic remuneration policy based on performance (Carlos, 2009, p731). To discuss the development of performance management, I could use many examples within the public sector however I am going to concentrate on three key examples: Local Government, Health services and Fire and Rescue Service. I will focus on the performance regimes in the UK since 1999.…

If we analyze, education requires a big amount of money from its first brick till the completion. In our country for the last 60 years our government is spending hardly one percent of its yearly income to the education. Where as developed countries are giving maximum attention to the education and giving eight to ten percent of its yearly budget to the education. In foreign countries instructional staffs are highly payed but in our country the lowest salaried are paid to the teachers. Most of the institutions are with insufficient accommodations .most of the classes in every institution is very big in numbers and these become difficult for a teacher to handle. Play grounds are not there. Books required for the students to consult are not available in the existing libraries. Financial hard pressed teacher cannot give full attention to the students .Students living far away from the institutions are not provided with the transport Tuition faces are in most of the institutions unaffordable for the parents .course books are very costly and most of the books are not available in the market . most of the laboratories not exist in the institutions and if these are then not equipped with the apparatus…

Security, quality education, access to healthcare, prospects of a reasonable job on merit and sound economy are the ingredients to be provided by the state to its citizens to run the state and the society smoothly. Growth of successful nations is denoted particularly to the education. There was a time when people believed that higher education should be available to people of all social classes and, obviously, it was freely available to all who wanted it. The fact that it is not, that public education was once available and now it is very hard to access is indicative of deep problems in Pakistan. Encouraging colleges and universities to raise their own resources by charging higher fees has clearly excluded a significant section of students belonging to poor sections of the society. Pinnacle Peak Hiking Area is a multipurpose, exercise trail used for both hiking and equestrians. It is a 1.75 mile one-way trail in Rio Verde, Arizona with breathtaking views of the Sonoran Desert from every direction. Families specifically enjoy this trail because there is no way for their children to get lost; there is one way in and one way out, no confusing side trails for anyone to take. There are a few areas where people are tempted to cut corners when there is a lot of traffic on the trail. This is quite dangerous as the entire trail is up a mountain and someone could very easily slip and fall. To help prevent people from cutting corners, the management has strategically laid rocks and logs along certain corners so it is a lot harder for people to step outside these boundaries.…
