Describe what your role, responsibilities and boundaries would be as a teacher in terms of the teaching/training cycle.

The role, responsibilities and boundaries from my research in this subject, are evolving qualities from the teacher, which are assessed and reflected upon, using the teaching /training cycle: a cycle of   identifying needs, planning and design, facilitating/ delivering, assessing and evaluation.

Identifying needs.
Finding out the needs of the organisation and the students then preparing sessions to deliver group or individual learning, based upon the needs of the organization, the syllabus and the students. Assessing varying learning styles incorporating visual, auditory and practical learning aids to ensure, students have equal rights to learning.
There are many theories used to identify how learners learn. I liked the VAK analysis which suggests that people learn from either their visual sense, auditory sense or through kinaesthetic senses. The Chinese proverb used as an example in Wilson. L. (2008) book a guide to PTLLS struck a chord with me, “ I hear, I forget, I see, I remember, I do, I understand.”
There are several ways to determine the students learning style, By asking pupils to participate in an ice breaker activity, can give me an idea of the students motivation and past experiences. asking the students to complete a learning style preference questionnaire and by observing the students during the session. All of these are clues which can help discover the individual students learning style, and will allow me to prepare future sessions.

Planning and Design.
Preparing the environment, to ensure that all students have a safe place in which they can achieve their goals,   Suitable delivery resources and handouts that should reflect the needs and the learning styles of the students.
