As I went back and read over my 4 letter code for the MBTI assessment that I took in week 4, I realized that ½ of it didn’t sound like me at all. I re-took the assessment and got a completely different code and then did some more research and took another assessment and got yet again another code. I have read through the three different codes and feel the first one does not represent me as much and the last two characterize me more. Upon doing the assessments I have noticed that the wording and choices are different in what they compare and that in any given situation depending on the choices that are presented I fall into a different category. I have known this fact for quite some time as I play “Devils Advocate” on nearly everything. My original 4 letter code was ENFJ when I retook the same test a month or so later I was an INFP and lastly I was a INFJ. The difference in the E with the I and the J with the P are solely situational and how the question was worded or choice given.
Extrovert verses Introvert – As an introvert I agree that I deal with things according to how I feel about them or how they fit into my own personal life. I have deep emotions and values yet only select few are close enough to me to know any of them. I seem like an extrovert to many due to my caring nature but by default I am a very private person. I am a people person by default in that I want to help others and bring out the best in them usually putting my own needs aside. I also agree that my main interest is giving love and support to others. The introverted part comes in here as this is mostly reserved for those closest to me.
