The heart of the vehicle is monitored by the intelligent electronic traction master that communicates with other electronic control units.

The vehicle’s energy comes from the 16kwh lithiumion battery cells designed using German technology. When fully charged, the battery enables the vehicle to travel a distance of up to 120km, making it ideal for city driving. The Proton Saga EV is a full battery operated electric vehicle designed towards zero CO2 tailpipe emission. The vehicle is driven by two compact and highly efficient permanent magnet AC synchronous motors. With maximum power capacity of 52kw, it can deliver almost 197Nm of torque.
