ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
As a part of curriculum at IMNU, the Summer Internship Program aims at overall development of the students by providing them an opportunity to gain corporate exposure and space to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice. No summer internship program can be successful without the support of the people who keep themselves closely involved with the student undergoing the program. Through this report, I take the opportunity to express and share my sincere gratitude and thankfulness to all those who helped me in making my training at Arvind Limited a success. First of all I’d like to thank Mr Sanjay S. Lalbhai CEO of Arvind Ltd., to give me a chance to work with his rapidly developing organization and thus also develop myself where I was given the opportunity to learn about the areas of mutual interest, my marketability and way of approach as a part of training and internship programs. I’d like to thank my mentor Mr. Samvit Rajagopalan, Head of International Marketing, Arvind Limited, for the grooming he imparted, valuable inputs and tailoring suggestions to fill the gap which I missed out on, which helped me throughout my tenure. I would also like to thank Mr. Pramod Modi, Project Head and Ms Richa Gautam, Design head, for providing continous support and guidance throughout, for the successful completion of the projects. I am also grateful to the entire Arvind knits team for giving me an opportunity to work on such broad and interesting topics and help me gain the maximum out of their whole process. I have got all sort of support from their side whenever required, making this internship a completely enriched learning experience. The learning would not have been completed without valuable inputs from their expertise, knowledge and experience. Last but not the least; I would also like to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to my institute for giving me this learning oppurtunity and my mentor Prof. P. K. Yadav for his support & guidance.
