CHAPTER TWO LITERATURE REVIEW.

A literature review is a body of text that aims to review the critical points of current knowledge including substantive findings as well as theoretical and methodological contributions to a particular topic. Literature reviews are secondary sources, and as such, do not report any new or original experimental work. Also, a literature review can be interpreted as a review of an abstract accomplishment. This chapter represents the review of different documents related to the problem, this is only done searching different issues as well as research done by various authors in the same field study for the purposes of adding knowledge and familiarity about the problem studied. To be more precise this chapter contains the different factors influencing implementation of strategies and theoretical arguments as discussed by various scholars et cetera.

Theoretical literature review.
There are several scholars who have tried to give up their views, knowledge, ideas concerning the implementation of strategies. For the purposes of this study, three theories on implementation of strategy are reviewed to form its conceptual basis. They include electric implementation, adaptive and holistic theories as explained in the proceeding sub-section.

Holistic Strategy Implementation Theory
In quest of finding a model for strategy implementation that could overcome existing deficiencies, Bourgeois and Brodwin, (2004) have created a five-model system for strategy implementation categorizing strategy implementation practices.
