Foreword

1)It’s an absolute pleasure to introduce myself as Mitanshu M. Gharat. At present I am studying PG in hospitality with Business and hotel management school combined with MBA course with CITY UNIVERSITY, Seattle. Prior to this I have completed B COM i.e. Bachelor of commerce and Diploma in Hotel management and catering technology in Mumbai. After that I was working for Hotel ITC Maratha Mumbai – The luxury collection for a period of 16 months as GSV- Guest Service in a restaurant.

As far MBA program is concerned, I am interested to carry on further with the commerce background to enhance my future. Project management enhance to developing a business plan and implementing with best possible results. It also includes implementing the project plan critically.

2)I Alpa Patel am a commerce graduate of Mumbai University, India. After completing one year of diploma in hotel management, I have worked with J.W Marriott hotel, Mumbai-India for one and a half year as guest relation executive.

Experiencing the work culture in an international five star hotel, I learnt the importance of international exposure with higher educational qualification. Considering the fact, I am pursuing for post graduation diploma combined with MBA program with City University of Seattle. Interested in working with the human resources, I would like to proceed with project management as a step towards gaining and widening my knowledge. Project management would help me to understand the scope, importance and functioning of various processes that form integral part of the entire project.

3)I Pushparaj Shetty am a Bachelor of commerce, graduated from Mumbai university .after graduation got an opportunity to work with Intelent Global services pvt ltd. In Mumbai, India which is a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry which was then totally a new concept which drove my enthusiasm to get an exposure to western work culture .During my tenure at Intelenet I had an opportunity to learn a lot about most of the technical aspects while working for a 100% Data process. Overall it was FUN, LEARN & EARN at Intelenet.

After serving Intelenet for three years got a call from one of the India’s leading Airlines in Mumbai –JET AIRWAYS (I) Ltd. To join the in-flight department as crew controller preparing the flight schedule for the cabin crew. It was a dynamic environment, every minute we had to face new challenge because everything depended on weather, flight take offs and landings, emergencies, passenger complaints, shortage of crew available to fly and so on.

Through the one and half year work experience at Jet airways, I got an opportunity to grow to a tremendous extent but sooner I realized things can work out better had I have acquired formal professional education in management and hospitality field and hence decided to go for the same at Business and Hotel Management School where I am currently pursuing PGD in hospitality management along with MBA from City University of Seattle which gives me a dual qualification at the same time.
