BRIEF DISCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT WORK DONE
As it is a norm that every DVS student should come up with a project as a group to develop their school, we came together as the 5J and 5X classes to make a welcoming sign at the school gate. This was erected at the school gate by a company we hired called the ---- and we assisted with unskilled labor. For us to reach a point of making this project a success, various methods were initiated such as fundraising through various methods and project identification. This project was made to the benefit of the school (Naledi Senior Secondary) and the community around the school.

BACKGROUND OF A PROJECT AREA
Situated at the mouth of New Naledi, Naledi Senior Secondary School is a Government Aided school that imparts knowledge on upcoming tertiary attendants. The school was built and equipped by the World Bank through the Boipelego Project in the Ministry of Education and opened in 1978.
From 1978 to 1986 the school operated as a junior secondary , taking students for forms 1 to 3. From 1987 the school admitted its first Cambridge Overseas School Certificate (COSC) students. In 1990 the school completely turned into senior secondary, admitting senior secondary school students only.
The school profile has been 21 classes for Form 4s and 21 classes for Form 5s since 2005.
The school is divided into 5 Houses with different Heads of House. The Houses are Cheetah, Kudu, Zebra, Buffalo and Giraffe.
