Professional Values and Ethics Paper
The relationship between ethics and critical thinking is the thought process. It affects how a person acts and how the think. How a person thinks affects the decision making process. Using critical thinking can strengthen the quality of life and give light on new heights of ethics, help extend life in his world and his academic environment. Ethics can be a concern because no one   thinks alike. Some do think alike but not because they have to, it because they share the same ethics either because of culture or family upbringing. Views of ethics, what is right or wrong could be a dangerous for the student in his academic studies and career. The relationship among professional values, ethics, and career success are standards practiced in the personal life and in a company. Values, ethics, and career success all provide behavior rules set in the beginning of employment. Standards are shared and practiced by both professional and personal living.
      According to the Webster dictionary ethical relates to ethics, honorable. Ethics is the study of good and evil and moral duty, moral principles, or practice (Rakoczy, 2010).
Values are defined as guiding principle or ideal, estimate the worth of, and appreciate the importants of. Ethics and values can be defined well beyond the dictionary because it is a personal way of thinking, personal standards built on how a person is brought up by family.
Professional Values and ethics that are applied in the workplace, is apart of whom a person is and how he takes pride in what he does.
Professional Integrity, Academic Integrity, and Personal values were three sources of professional values and ethics.
