Professional Values and Ethics
The definition of Values [It is what we and companies stand for; It is a group of beliefs that we as individuals learn from one another as a guide line to judge to be right by. It’s is what we live our lives by to help us. A standard in which we use to help maintain balanced and give people the purpose to strive in life. Values can compile of things like integrity, professionalism, caring, teamwork, and stewardship].
The definition of Ethics [Means (motivation based on ideas of right and wrong), or (the philosophical study of moral values and rules). It is significantly broader than the common conception of ethics as the analyzing of right and wrong.
In early January 0f 2009 the FDA issued a recall for all peanut products associated with the company [Peanut Corporation of America or (PCA) for short]. The company was tested by the FDA for food contamination and tested positive for Salmonella contamination and the company was ordered not to ship the product, but the PCA shipped the peanut products any ways, knowing that there products were tainted and dangerous, the company shipped the peanut products to the stores for consumers to buy.
The company is currently going under investigation and pay for fines for disobeying the laws in witch was in place to protect the general public.

The Dole Food Company Located in SALINAS, California, had an E. coli out break with contaminated greens. As a result of the out break Industry leaders said their focus is on food safety after three people died and more than 200 were sickened from last fall's outbreak.
