After completion of the Post graduate Diploma in Management, I want to be where the guerilla wars of business are fought, where global language and intercultural/personal skills make the difference. Where intelligence translates into quantum leaps (courtesy of the physicist). This where I can make my best contribution. In short, I want to be where the action and the challenges are. My strategic business marketing experience at Google, coupled with my short-term goal of success in consumer marketing during an internship at Bharti Airtel, will build the solid foundation needed to reach my long-term career goal of playing a leadership role in a global company. While working at a managerial position in this company, I want to be able to bring about a revolution in the way ideas/products are marketed, to do it so that there is a value proposition for every person involved in the same.
Upon working at Google for the past 1.5 years in the AdWords department, I have been able to attain a lot of insights of the different industries, the psyche of the consumers in each industry, the needs and the expectations of the consumers and the players and how the whole eco system works in those industries. Upon completion of the two year PGDM from Great Lakes Institute of Management, I want to use this knowledge along with my post graduate education to be able to have an in depth understanding of the various industries, to be able to foresee a need in those industries and then marketing that need to the consumers in a truly customer centric manner, and hopefully bringing about a change in the meaning of necessity for the consumers.
First and foremost, I look forward to facing the challenge of successfully launching a product in the market. Although I want to begin working on a product's go-to-market strategy, I eagerly anticipate gradually increasing my managerial context within the company.
