Professional Basketball vs NCAA College Basketball

Sports have became a huge part of our American culture. We are known worldwide for having produced some of the most top-ranked athletes in a wide variety of sports. Basketball has become a very popular sport amongst all types of people ranging from little kids to the older generation. What other sport can you see players jumping high off the ground, going around the back and through the legs, to slam dunk a ball through a round piece of metal attached to a glass bored ten feet off the ground? Only in basketball can you get that excitement. Only in the United States of America can you get the caliber of talent that you see each time you turn the TV on to sports center. The most widely recognized and televised games are those of the NCAA college basketball teams and those of the NBA. With hectic party schedules, professors assigning to much homework, and working that pain in the butt job its hard to decide what games to have your TiVo record. So the question is, which game would be better to watch?

College basketball players play for a school and try to make a name for themselves while using that full ride athletic scholarship to get their educations. On the other hand, NBA players already have their career making 250,000 dollars to an astounding 25 million dollars depending on the individual franchise and the talent of the player. Did they sell their souls upon entering the NBA draft? Professional players completely changed how they played their game in between college and the big leagues. The whole dynamic of the game shifts between the levels of competition, but its not necessarily for the better.
