How to Become a Celebrity’s #1 Fan

Many people look up to others as a source of admiration. Celebrities are usually the main targets of idolization because of their lifestyles, careers, struggles and successes. Celebrities are portrayed in the media in ways that make common people want to be like them and do what they do. Celebrities live amazing lives from what we see. They accumulate wealth and fame which draws the attention of people. But for some people like myself, I admire celebrities because they are a source of hope. At the age of twelve I sat at my kitchen table flipping through a gossip magazine (I cannot remember which magazine probably Us Weekly or Star). I flipped the pages briefly reading any articles, but not paying much attention to them. I eventually stopped when I saw Paris Hilton. She was so beautiful with her blonde hair and blue eyes. I can remember it like it was yesterday: her hair was in a bob and she was wearing a lavender dress. At that time I did not know that I was going to become her number one fan, but no one ever does. Over the past six years I have been a fan of Paris Hilton. I was not always her number one fan, but as time progressed, I went from an ordinary fan to extraordinary number one fan. Following these steps was very successful for me and can be very vital for you. As long as you are fascinated by a celebrity and determined to become his or her number one fan, to act in accordance with these steps will be easy. When I became a super fan there was no one that helped me, but luckily I have compiled these guidelines to make it easier for you. There are a few guidelines that I have set up to help assist you as you begin your journey to becoming a celebrity’s number one fan. The first step to becoming a number one fan is to find a celebrity to admire. This step is the most obvious. The key is to choose a celebrity that you do not know much about, just basic things such as their career. For example, if you heard a song on the radio and thought that it was amazing, you can easily make that person your celebrity of choice. Be sure to pick someone that has a career in a field that may interest you. For instance, if you are not interested in sports, choosing an athlete like Kobe Bryant would not be the best idea. You do not want to pick someone that you will become uninterested in. The point is to find someone that seems like they will keep you interested forever. When I first glimpsed at Paris Hilton in the magazine I was instantly attracted. I did not know much about her or what she did, however I had to educate myself to make sure she was the right celebrity of choice. The next step is to do research. This step is important because during this step you find out all the things your celebrity has done in the past and what they are currently doing. You can then make the decision to stick with the celebrity or find a new one. First, you should attain online articles or books that give you a biography of the celebrity’s life. Find out how they got their start in the entertainment industry. What was his or her big break? What challenges, if any, did they face? Find out what their favorites are like food, color, pets, and etc. Find out where they grew up and how it influenced their lives. It is important to research about their family history. You should look to see if the person has any famous siblings or relatives. Looking up family history was crucial for me because many believe that the only reason Paris is famous, is because of her family. Her family has been in the Hollywood scene for many years and her grandfather just happens to be a real-estate tycoon. Doing research about family history gives you a sense of why the person became who they are. I could tell that Paris Hilton was elegant and sophisticated, and the research about her family I accumulated validated my claim. It is important to find out the connections your celebrity may have. For example, I would not...
