In this book a teenager named Reed Brennan gets a scholarship to one of the top ranked schools in the country, Easton Academy. She thinks this is a great opportunity to get away from her drug abusing mom and her suburban life. When she arrives at Easton Academy she feels that everyone is smarter, pretty and most of the people there were richer then her. After a couple days Reed looks out her window and finds out about Billings Girls. When she first sees them she thinks they are wonderful, and everything she wanted to be. She then wants to be one of them because she thinks it will make everything easier at Easton. At first she’s not doing so well on becoming their friend, but then she does become one of them. When she is accepted into there inner circle she finds out they are not as perfect as she thought they were.
When I first started to read I didn’t think that I was going to like it, but as I read more into the book I really did start to like it. One of the things that I liked about it was the characters in the book were around our age and maybe some of us could even relate to one of them some way or another. Another thing that I liked about the book was that it always kept you reading. When ever the a chapter ended it would end with some kind of message that you wanted to find out what it means or what will happen between the two characters. I didn’t really dislike anything in the novel I thought that everything was good. The scene that stood out to me most was when the Billings Girls was going to make Reed spike Mr. Barbers coffee but she stood up for herself and said no. I would recommend this book to someone else because I really did enjoy the book. I would only recommend this book to kids around my age because of the material in the book.

In the book Gossip Girl character Jenny Humphrey is going to leave her Manhattan life behind and go to Waverly Boarding School located in New York horse country where all gorgeous rich kid’s don’t let they rule books... [continues]
