About four years ago, President Barak Obama was elected as the 44th President of the United States. It was an exciting time for Americans to celebrate their first African-American President. Today, Americans don’t really look at the race or religion of our candidates, but look towards the plan for economic restructure and the end of warfare. The current candidates of the 2012 Presidential Campaign bring new ideas and policies to the American people, but, in my opinion, Mitt Romney has more intelligent plans to repair the United States economy and end international warfare.
Although candidates of the democratic and republican parties have great strategies when speaking about our economy, Mitt Romney tends to one-up Barrack Obama. Romney promises to bring 12 million new jobs to Americans by the end of his term if elected. Romney has also promised to lower taxes on small businesses to encourage new jobs. Although Obama has also promised to lower the unemployment rate in the United States, he has only promised to bring 1 million new jobs before the end of his term by continuing to tax the middle class.
In addition to our economy, the candidates of the democratic and republican parties have very different opinions on the topic of warfare; however, I think Romney’s ideas will relieve many of the families of soldiers. Despite the fact that the mission is complete and Osama bin Laden is dead, President Obama has yet to send our troops back to their families. In contrast to Obama’s misleading target date, Romney has made the return of soldiers to their home his first priority if elected.
In comparison, the candidates of the democratic and republican parties have many different ideas and policies to try to improve the problems that America has faced such as the economy and warfare.
