Preaching an Atheist About Islam
What exactly is Islam? Islam is the belief in one god but Allah and Muhammad his messenger. As an Atheist yourself, I know the notion of ‘god’ doesn’t exist nor fabricate in your mind. Until God himself is welcome to directly communicate with you and share an honest conversation, will you then have a reason to trust that god righteously exists?
As a Muslim and a genuine practicing believer, I’ve found many profound scientific facts and miracles in our Holy book, Al-Quran. The Quran was sent down to earth 14 centuries ago by God. However, the Quran is not a book of science; it nonetheless includes some scientific explanations within its religious and spiritual context. Never in history have these explanations contradicted with the findings of modern science. Certain facts that could only be discovered with the advanced technology of the 20th century were in fact revealed in the Qur’an 14 centuries ago. This shows us that the Qur’an is one of the most significant verifications that proclaim the existence of God. Based on teachings, Atheism as I believe relies on science and truth and the theory that the universe was the creation of evolution. In the Qur’an and in the light of data obtained in the 20th century, the universe came suddenly and was previously non-existent. The Big Bang theory holds that the beginning of the universe came about with this explosion. This expansion of the universe is one of them, and thus the most significant proof of this is the galaxies and the heavenly bodies that are consistently moving away from each other. Indeed, when we are constantly reminded of the first moment of the Big Bang, we see that the spot called the cosmic egg contained all the matters of the universe. Afterwards, this cosmic egg eventually exploded causing its matter to explode and in the process creating the whole universe. A specific verse in the holy Qur’an states: “Do the Unbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together, before we clove

The Islamic belief is based off of an almighty, magnificent God who has fashioned the world and who controls each and every part of the world down to the smallest detail. Islam is considered to be closely related to the other monotheistic religions of Judaism and Christianity, and all three religions worship the same God. The idea of God’s power receives the greatest importance in Islam. The most basic concept of Islam is that there is only one God. Since there is only one God, only this God has the right to be worshipped. None…

Which in part, is a true atheist claim. They like to use science and the details of science to argue why the Lord is imaginary, and why religion is fictitious. While I wanted to brush off what he said and keep on with my faith, it inevitably made me question my faith slightly, and challenged me. When he said Christians essentially “invent allies in the sky” (576). It made me question my belief because I grew up with the belief in the Lord.…

In his article, On Being an Atheist, H.J. McCloskey tried to show that atheism is a more reasonable and comfortable belief than that of Christianity. McCloskey argued against the three theistic proofs, which are the cosmological argument, the teleological argument and the argument from design. He pointed out the existence of evil in the world that God made. He also pointed out that it is irrational to live by faith. In my response, I will argue that McCloskey’s article is one-sided and thus flawed in his conclusion that atheism is more comforting than Christianity and when one examines all the evidence, Christianity is truly a source for great comfort today.…

In fact McCloskey places the bar even lower by referring to the “proofs of” rather than “arguments for” God’s existence, thereby overstating the Theist’s claim. With respect to the “proofs” for God’s existence that McCloskey attempts to deal with, namely the Cosmological and Teleological Arguments, McCloskey offers trivial objections that are easily answered. With respect to arguments for God’s non-existence, McCloskey offers the logical form of the problem of evil which, while rich in rhetoric, does not contain enough logic to necessitate its title. McCloskey ends his article with a pragmatic justification of Atheist, stating that Atheism is more comforting that Theism; a point that is stark in its irrelevance.…

Some, notably evolutionists, would claim that the universe is a product of accident. Many evolutionists claim that the universe resulted from a gigantic explosion in outer space before there was an outer space. This view, however, does not measure up to science. In order for the kind of explosion that evolutionists claim to take place, there must be a chemical such as hydrogen present to ignite the explosion. If hydrogen were there to explode, the hydrogen would have to have been created by someone or something. This theory of "atheistic evolution" is, therefore, not logical.…

Islam is the religion of the Muslim people. This faith is based on the book of the Koran, revelations from the Prophet Muhammad. Islam originated from the Arabic word aslama, which is submission ("The definition of Islam," 2013). Therefore, Islam refers to the submission to the will of God, better known as Allah to the Muslim people. The teachings of Islam come not only from the book of Koran, but portions of the Holy Bible influenced the development of the religion. Today, the Islam faith continues to disagree with the scriptures found in the Holy Bible and has brought much confusion and animosity amongst Americans. This religion is one of the fastest growing in the world. The ignorance that most Americans perceive this religion to encompass must be better…

Can any scientist tell us how the Universe came into existence? Or, how old it is? There are creatures on Earth that are still being discovered today! Perhaps, one could look at the beauty in a sunrise or sunset. Perhaps, one could believe in God when they watch their new born babies eye lashes grow over the course of a week after they’re born; it is truly amazing! God created all things with such imagination and carefulness-each living thing is amazingly unique and has a purpose on this Earth no matter how big or small that purpose may be. In my opinion, Atheism is a belief that doesn’t leave much to look forward to. Though, it may be hard to explain God’s existence because he cannot be physically seen or heard, it shouldn’t be so hard to believe that the human race was created for purpose; one that exceeds this life on…

Islam’s primary significance is the making of peace first within one‘s self, and then for humanity as a whole. The author of Islam is Allah (God). The book of Islam is the Holy Qur’an, and the scriptures that were taught to the prophets. Islam has five beautiful fundamental principles of belief. Belief in Allah and his Apostle, Belief in Zakat (spending in the cause of truth), Belief in Fasting, Belief in Pilgrimage, Belief in Prayer(5 times daily). These beliefs are strictly enforced by each and everyone that prescribes to the title of Muslim. The number one principle belief is the Belief in Allah (God), the belief in a power higher than man. Although man may be ignorant of just who it is who has such supreme power, it can be traced back to the beginning of the civilization of the human race and to the beginning of the writing of history. Islam, as stated earlier is a peaceful religion, most information that is available to people seems to have a negative light on it. It really is not truly considered a religion but, a way…
