Poverty and Hard Earned Cash

Every country has their fair share of people who are living in poverty, and every country also has their own ways of dealing with it. In The United States, we provide something called welfare. While welfare may be a great way to provide for the less fortunate, could it possibly be just another way for people to get away with not working? In today’s society, there are countless people who are living paycheck to paycheck without any money left over and there are also people who are living purely off of social security or welfare checks. The money that goes into those checks comes from the people who are living in the working class. The part of this that is often misunderstood is the reason why the people who actually work for their money have to give their hard earned cash to the individuals who do not work at all. I’m not referring to the people who have disabilities; I am referring to the people who choose not to work because they simply have the option to. Why are most of us living in poverty? Even though people do not want to help the poor, we need to get people out of living in poverty because people are dying and our economy is in a bad place. There are several reasons why our society is in poverty. One of the principle causes is lack of education. A great number of poverty-stricken people are illiterate people. In many places around the world, there are not even elementary schools. As a result of being uneducated, these people are unable to find jobs that would satisfactorily fulfill their needs to supply for themselves.
The second significant problem is weak economics. As usual, weak economics is created by crisis or non-professional authorities of government. In or to heal this system, we need to improve the diplomatic relationship with other countries, which would ultimately be improving our international affairs.
