PREFACE

Research studies constitute the backbone of any management education programme. A management student has to quite frequently do the research work during his entire span. The idea of the study has been conceived as a summer training project work to be undertaken in second semester of the two year full time MBA course and is devoted to “POSITIONING OF MONTE CARLO DENIM VIS- A- VIS OTHER COMPETITIVE BRANDS”

The research has been undertaken to study the changing perception of customers and dealers regarding various brands and also the various factors to which the customer gives importance and their perception about different competing brands regarding those factors are studied.

The research is statistical in design and extensive analysis brought to light several Facts. The customers were also asked to rate a few relevant parameters and companies were ranked on their basis, the data also revealed the satisfaction level of customers. In order to analyze the data and draw...
