Asia
Malaysia
1. The Malaysian population pyramid most closely resembles a Christmas tree.
2. The map shows that the largest age group in Malaysia is 5-9 and that the smallest age group is 85-89. There’s just about the same amount of men and women.
Cambodia
1. The Cambodian population pyramid most closely resembles a barrel.
2. The map shows that the largest age group in Cambodia is between 15-19 years of age and the smallest age group is 85-89 years of age. There are younger men and older women.
3. The maps show that Cambodia is more developed than Malaysia.
4. Cambodia’s largest age demographic is working age & Malaysia’s largest age demographic is dependents.

Europe

Germany
1. The German population pyramid most closely resembles a barrel.
2. The map shows that Germany’s largest age group is 45-49, the lowest age demographic is 95-99.
Belarus
1. The Belarus population pyramid most closely resembles a barrel.
2. The map shows that the largest age group in Belarus is between 20-24 years of age and the smallest age group is 85-89 years of age.
3. Germany is more developed than Belarus. I’d say Belarus is developing due to the younger population.
4. Germany has a more stable population & less people of fertility age. Belarus looks like a developing country that is just starting stage 3.

2. The map shows that South Africa’s largest age group is 20-24, the lowest age demographic is 80-84.

2. The map shows that Ghana’s largest age group is 0-4; the lowest age demographic is 85-89.
3. South Africa is more developed than Ghana.
4. I think both countries are developing but SA has more people of working age than dependents.

Mexico
1. The Mexican population pyramid most closely resembles a Christmas tree.
2. The map shows that the Mexico’s largest age group is 15-19, the lowest age demographic is 90-94.

3. The U.S is more developed than Mexico.

4. The U.S has more people with stable careers that focus on jobs while Mexico has more people of fertile ages. Their population will increase more than the U.S’s.

South America
Argentina
1. The Argentinian population pyramid most closely resembles a Christmas tree.
2. The map shows that the Argentina’s largest age group is 30-34, the lowest age demographic is 95-99.
Chile
1. The Chile population pyramid most closely resembles a barrel. 2. The map shows that Chile’s largest age group is 15-19, the lowest age demographic is 95-99.
3. Argentina is more developed than Chile.
4. Argentina has more people with careers; Chile has more people of school age.
